ABOUT ME

Sweet Neva is a wonderful senior dog – she’s a 10-year-old black lab who weighs 42 pounds. She came to us after being neglected for a long time but after a bath and lots of love from her foster and a vet visit, she’s doing great! We are treating her for heart worms and she’s doing well.

She’s an easy senior who loves eating, snuggling with her blanket, napping, short walks, and being pampered. She gets along with kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s a very sweet and smiling happy girl. She’s crate trained. Homes with stairs are not ideal for her as she has a bit of a limp.

Neva is a lovely dog who will make her forever family so very happy.

Our adoption fee for dogs is $250 per puppy or dog. Please send us your application so we can set up a meet and greet at our office or at a location of the foster's choosing.

How to get the ball rolling on adoptions:

Because we are a foster-based rescue and do not house our animals in a central location, you will need to complete and submit an adoption application for approval before we arrange a meet-and-greet for you and our pets.  Please bring a collar, leash, and owner tag when meeting your prospective adoptee.  Welcoming a new pet into your family is exciting, but it can also be stressful for you  and your new buddy!  Having food, bedding, toys, sleeping crate, etc, set up in advance will greatly ease the transition for everyone.  Feel free to contact us with any questions.  Our adoption fees for dogs are generally $250 (plus tax) unless the dog has undergone a special surgery or treatment.
