Who is Footbridge Foundation?
We are a nonprofit 501c3 based in San Antonio, Texas. Formed in 2017, our mission is to rescue and find loving homes for adoptable cats and dogs. To fund our charitable animal rescue efforts we rely solely on the much-needed donations of our generous supporters. We can't do it without you!
We rehabilitate and then adopt our cats and dogs to amazing pet owners not only in San Antonio but throughout the country. We work with many local shelters, rescues, and individuals to save as many lives as we can.

Saturday & Sunday: 8 AM–10 PM
Coffee until 3 PM. Beer all day.

This program, created to help our long-time residents, not only has YOU as a member but our long-term pets become members when they need an extra push to get adopted. You are helping by sponsoring their adoption fee, removing that barrier to adoption. Also, your donation provides for their continued resources and medical care while in our program.
Amazon Wish List
Our Amazon Wish List has items we use on a continuous basis. We will gladly accept ANY animal related donations such as litter, pet food, puppy pads, cleaning supplies, creates/carriers, toys, and towels.
Our partnership with Bandera Pointe PetSmart!
We have adoptable kittens and cats you can see at the Bandera Pointe Petsmart Adoption Center located at 1604 and Bandera Road, 11791 Bandera Road next to Kohl’s. (210) 526-6631.

Want to make an even bigger impact at Footbridge Foundation’s Off the Leash Fundraiser? We’re now welcoming event sponsors and silent auction donors to help support stray dogs and cats in San Antonio.
Sponsoring the event or donating an auction item directly supports our rescue efforts and spay/neuter clinic while showcasing your business to a passionate, local audience. From experiences and services to gift cards and products, every contribution helps save lives.
