It's almost time for The Big Give! The Big Give is just around the corner! It's San Antonio's 24-hour online giving day and your participation in The Big Give 2021 is crucial to our nonprofit's success! Your donation makes a significant impact in our community and to Footbridge Foundation by giving through The Big Give. With your gift, we are eligible to earn prize incentives and additional funds. PetSmart Spotlight We're fortunate to have a great partnership with PetSmart at Bandera Pointe (11791 Bandera Road) where some of our adoptable cats/kittens stay until they're adopted. PetSmart generously provides our cats with food and their cat condos keep our kitties safe and happy while also showcasing them to prospective families. Footbridge Foundation supplies the volunteers who play with the cats, clean their litter boxes, feed/water them, and help them socialize. 
A wonderful mother daughter team, Sandra and Molly Kreth, have facilitated countless adoptions for us at PetSmart. They're also are very dedicated in helping us manage the PetSmart volunteer schedule, making sure a volunteer visits our kittens and cats every day. These volunteers play with the kittens and cats, feed them and give them fresh water, and clean their litter boxes. The cats love the attention and it helps them learn to socialize!

Our last adoption event at Elevate Dental in June was such a success, they've offered to host another! Join us for the next Bring Home a Smile adoption event in September.
Our friends at Elevate Dental are partnering with us to host a fun adoption event at their location on Saturday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We'll have puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats for adoption, there will be vendors with food/drinks, and you can visit the brand new Maverick Dog Park, located directly across the street from Elevate Dental! 
The Lonely Hearts Club: Meet Boo Boo is a sassy-pants big boy black kitty. We rescued him from the San Antonio Riverwalk and we were surprised to learn he was microchipped. We discovered that his owner, who lived over 40 miles away, had no idea how he made it to the Riverwalk! Once we arranged with them to try to find Boo a new home, we learned that he takes time to get to know new animals. As long as the dog or other cat is calm, Boo is willing to try! He's also starting to play footsie with Pearsall, our office cat, underneath the door.
