Now, more than ever...

As you've probably guessed, the summer is a very busy time for animal rescues. Kitten season continues and it seems tiny kitties are popping up everywhere needing lifesaving help. There are also countless dogs and puppies who desperately need our assistance, too. We've been inundated with requests to help stray animals lately. And, as the weather gets hotter, the stakes become even higher for homeless animals here in south Texas. 

Colorado has an upside down pet population - this means they have a lack of animals to adopt out, whereas here in San Antonio, we have more animals that we can find homes for.

Please help us save more animals this summer by getting as many as we can out of Texas. We need your support now more than ever. There are kittens and puppies in need all over the city and we can’t do what we do without you!

Lonely no more!

Drum roll, please!!! Bella is now a FORMER member of our Lonely Hearts Club! ❤️ After many months of searching for her perfect fit, Bella, our FIV+ kitty (now named Lydia Deetz), found her forever family with her new brother, FIV+ Betelgeuse, and her new human mama, Shelby. Lydia and Betelgeuse are now BFFs who love to play and birdwatch out the window together.

The Lonely Hearts Club

Oh, you’ve gotta meet this sweet girl - she’s been waiting to meet her forever family for a while now. She’s gentle and sweet and shakes her cute bootie when she’s happy! Baby, a member of our Lonely Hearts Club, is a beautiful six-year-old, 50-pound female terrier/pit mix. She's house trained and crate trained. She prefers a home with no other pets as she requires every bit of love you have to give. 

Lonely Hearts Club members are sweet, loving animals who’ve been searching for their forever families for longer than most of the animals we rescue. As a Lonely Hearts Club member, Baby’s adoption fee is FULLY sponsored!

Our friends at Elevate Dental are partnering with us to host a fun adoption event at their location on Saturday, June 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We'll have puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats for adoption and you can visit the brand new Maverick Dog Park, located directly across the street from Elevate Dental!
