Baby Love! We're thrilled to bring you the wonderful news that Baby, our longtime Lonely Hearts Club member, got adopted! We knew if we were patient, the perfect person would come along and he did. Baby is so loving, sweet, and deserving of a wonderful home and now she has one.

Footbridge Foundation is The Cherrity Bar's July nonprofit! Thanks to you, our loyal supporters who went to The Cherrity Bar and voted for Footbridge Foundation, we've been elected as The Cherrity Bar's July nonprofit beneficiary! What does this mean? The generous folks at The Cherrity Bar (located at 302 Montana St, 78203 - across the street from the Alamodome) will donate a portion of July sales to Footbridge Foundation in the following ways:
Two 10% Sales Giveback Days - Join Footbridge Foundation on Friday, July 23 (we'll be celebrating our founder, Wendy Black's, 50th birthday!) and Friday, July 30, for fun evenings at The Cherrity Bar! 10% of The Cherrity Bar’s total food and alcohol sales from these dates will be donated to us!
Charity Tip Pool - Throughout the month of July, each customer’s check includes a tip line to add an additional tip to their check. At the end of the month, the total charity tip pool amount will be donated to Footbridge Foundation. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and drinks on any July day or night and you can donate to Footbridge Foundation this way!
Specialty Cocktail - A specialty cocktail created by The Cherrity Bar will be sold in July with $1 from each sale being donated to Footbridge Foundation. This July's specialty cocktail is a play on a Mangonada with tequila, local mangos, lime juice, chamoy and tajin.
Please join Footbridge Foundation at The Cherrity Bar this month to help us raise money to rescue and care for cats and dogs from the streets of San Antonio. Footbridge Foundation provides them with a bridge to a new life!
The Lonely Hearts Club: Meet Hannah Welcome to our Lonely Hearts Club, Hannah! After three months of searching for her forever family, Hannah, our 3.5-year-old Great Pyrenees, joins our special club.
Hannah’s adoption fee is 100% sponsored because she requires a special Adopter who will invest in her health for many years to come. She is young (3.5 y) and while Hannah has come so far in our care, between overcoming her tick borne illness, Babesia Canis, and PRP injections/ozone therapy in both knees, she is still being evaluated on July 12th as a surgery candidate for her bilateral luxating patellas.

Currency for Cats: this fundraiser needs your help! In June we started a fundraiser to help with the inundation of kittens and cats we've rescued, with more coming in every day. And, we almost made it halfway to our goal of $2,000. We've extended this important fundraiser through this Saturday, July 10, with the hope that you can help us reach our goal - every dollar goes directly to rescue, bottle feed, vet, and transport kittens and cats to safe homes in our city and beyond.
Please donate – any amount helps! And, please help us spread the word about the importance of spay and neuter within our community.
