Brothers from Another Mother Who doesn't love a heartwarming story to kick off the most thankful month of the year?
Sweet William Shakespaw and Pawcasso were adopted together just as we dreamed they would be! But we had help making this dream come true: our friends at The Cannoli Fund sponsored their intake fees which went toward William’s extensive diagnostics and medications and to help treat Pawcasso’s upper respiratory infection. One of our big supporters, Michael Austin, took a liking to these sweet orange tabbies and offered to sponsor their adoption fee if they got adopted together.
We are in need of more fosters! 
These six kittens were found in a box in an alley. Thankfully, our friends, The Cannoli Fund, sponsored their intake fees. In addition to these six kittens, we took in three more that are very ill and another one who is missing two paws. Intakes like these keep us busy and in need of more donations and fosters.
We're very close to reaching our goal of rescuing and placing 400 animals in safe, loving homes in 2021. But, to reach this goal, we need more fosters to make it happen. If you can open your home to a foster animal (cat or dog) in the next eight weeks, we would LOVE your help.
We provide everything our fosters need to care for their animal: food, toys, litter boxes, leashes, beds, medical care, and more. Please contact us ASAP if you can foster. Adoption Event: Find a Furry Friend in Time for the Holidays 
Join us at the next Downtown Dog Market in Legacy Park on Saturday, November 13, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., where we'll have a Footbridge Foundation adoption event!
In addition to enjoying the lush green grass and gorgeous downtown views of Legacy Park, you can also savor eats and drinks from Pinkerton’s BBQ and shop some of San Antonio’s top dog-friendly businesses. And, meet our adorable adoptables - who knows, maybe you'll bring home a new friend for the holidays!

We've had a busy and exciting 2021 so far with lots of growth for Footbridge Foundation!
We continue to rescue and help special needs animals all year long. From amputations to entropion eye surgery, from bottle babies, broken limbs, and blindness to behavioral issues, we always have animals with extra needs in our program.
As we approach our goal of taking 400 animals into our program this year, remember, YOU are the key to helping us continue our mission.
#GivingTuesday, on Tuesday, November 30 this year, is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. We need to keep the ball rolling here at Footbridge, intaking animals, caring for them, and then finding them great homes.
