Gabby had anemia and two large masses hanging from her body and, without her foster family stepping in to ensure she received the care she desperately needed, Gabby would still be suffering today. Thankfully, one of San Antonio's leading surgical vets, Dr. Narurkar with Deerfield Animal Hospital, was able to perform surgery on Gabby and give her the life saving medical care she so desperately needed. We’re committed to giving Gabby the best Golden Years with all the love and attention she deserves, and we need your help to ensure this happens. We’re in need of funds for Gabby’s continued care (which can quickly add up for senior dogs) and your donation will make a huge difference. Your support gives Gabby a chance at finding the perfect home to live out the rest of her life, and we hope this joyful girl has a lot of life left in her! |
We've got lots of exciting events coming up this month and next! This weekend we're inviting you to join us on Saturday at PetSmart (281 & Bitters) from 12pm-3pm for a dog adoption event where you'll get to meet some of our sweet pups and come out to Toyota Field on Saturday evening at SAFC's Do Good Night from 6:30-8:30pm.
Then, celebrate Fiesta with us at a Fiesta Eve Medal Party at Betthoven Mannerchor on April 17th and the annual Fiesta Pooch Parade on April 27th! We are also excited to provide outreach for an EID cat adoption event as part of our community engagement efforts. We can't wait to see you at these fun adoption and Fiesta events! |

Our Lonely Hearts Club continues to make dreams come true! We're happy to report that LHC member Duke was adopted recently and is in a loving home. Bear, Ember, Guillermo, Nini, Coach, and Oreo are still hoping to find their perfect families. Remember, their adoption fees are 100% covered by our wonderful LHC donors!
Lonely Hearts Club human members subscribe to a monthly donation to help us care for and cover the adoption fees for our harder to place animals until they find their forever families. We are SO grateful to our LHC members as we simply couldn't care for these animals on such a long term basis without their kind and generous donations. Thank you!
