As a nonprofit organization relying 100% on donations, the success of our year-end fundraising campaign ties directly to the number of animals we can save! 

• Footbridge Foundation does not turn away animals when they are medically fragile. If we are able to place them with a foster, we will do whatever it takes. We work to save ALL animals from the streets of San Antonio and south Texas and find them loving homes.
  
• When you donate to Footbridge Foundation, 100% of your contribution goes directly to the care and fostering of our animals, as we do not draw any salaries.
   
• With your help, we've already surpassed our goal of taking in more than 400 animals in 2021. We plan to grow, rescuing and placing even more animals during 2022, but we need your continued support to make it happen.

This holiday season, there are two great ways to shop while helping Footbridge Foundation at the same time!

Orvis San Antonio

Be sure to visit @orvissanantonio this holiday season. They’re selling holiday gift boxes (all sizes!) for just $2.50 each and half of the proceeds benefit Footbridge Foundations. Funds raised go directly to care for the cats and dogs in our program.

Orvis is located at Park North Shopping Center, 78216, and dogs - like sweet Blair here who was recently adopted from us - are always welcome. ❤️

Fifi and Fido's

While shopping at @fifi.and.fidos.sa for your special somepet, pick up a unique Footbridge Foundation ornament! These beautiful ornaments were handcrafted by one of our fosters/adopters, China Werner, and they feature Footbridge animals. Perfect for your holiday tree, these ornaments are just $20 each and all proceeds go to Footbridge Foundation.

Welcome to the Lonely Hearts Club, Halsey!

Meet the newest member of our Lonely Hearts Club, beautiful Halsey! She's a seven-year-old 38-pound Malinois / Shepherd mix who's gentle, sweet, and gets along well with kids and dogs.

Although sweet Halsey is undergoing heart worm treatment with our rescue, she is still available for adoption. We'll continue to take care of her treatment until she's heart worm free. All she needs is a family to give her a great second chance and tons of love. Don't let this small bump in the road scare you from adopting this amazing dog! We are happy to talk with you about the process of helping Halsey become heart worm free.
