Lonely Hearts Club member, George Clooney has been looking for his forever home for quite some time now, and we hope this sweet and deserving guy finds his perfect family soon. At seven years old, he's a charming and energetic Boxer Mix that we simply can't get enough of. He's so easy-going and fun-loving that he even serves as a mediator when it comes to interacting with other dogs.
George came to us last year with injuries to his left side, which we were able to successfully treat! Additionally, he received a thorough teeth cleaning during his neuter surgery, so he's all fixed up and is as active and playful as ever. We love George so much and we know you will too. Join us for a paw-some time at the 24th Annual Fiesta® Pooch Parade hosted by Therapy Animals of San Antonio. This dog-friendly event is perfect for the whole family and will take place on Saturday, April 29th, starting at Alamo Heights Swimming Pool from 7:45am-1pm. Enjoy a festive 4K walk alongside nearly 800 pups parading through the beautiful tree-lined streets of Alamo Heights. Make sure to arrive early to participate in the Canine Costume Contest, snap photos in the "Selfie Booth", try out the interactive training course, and browse through the many vendors offering various animal-related goodies. Plus, you'll get to meet some of the adorable, adoptable Footbridge Foundation animals! |
Our Spay-Neuter Clinic is Now Performing Surgeries! |
We're thrilled to announce that we've officially started surgeries at our spay-neuter clinic!
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to begin spaying and neutering our animals at the Footbridge Foundation Surgery Center last month. Our hope is that this initiative frees up appointment space in local clinics, making a positive impact not only on our animals but on the entire San Antonio community.
We're still in need of your support to continue covering the costs of these surgeries, including materials and compensation for our veterinary staff. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference as we continue to take in new animals in need of their spay or neuter surgeries.
