The 4th annual Dog Day Afternoon community carnival, a fun-filled event with live music, bounce house, dunk tank, free food and drinks. Over 1,000 people attend this family friendly event each year. Not only can you visit with adoptable Aspen Animal Shelter pets, but you can also B.Y.O.D., bring your own dog! The event is a held to thank all the supporters of the shelter throughout the year. 

Footbridge Foundation, working with our rescue partners in San Antonio to identify felines in need, will be transporting some very lucky kittens and cats to Aspen, Colorado for the event. 

Proceeds from the day of the event will benefit those affected by the Lake Christine fire.
